About artSparks:
artSparks, a new and experimental program, is bringing the creative energy of Seattle’s vibrant arts community into daily downtown life. From June through October, three center city parks will each serve as an “art space” for a specific curator or curatorial team. The curators and artists will explore their own artistic interests with performance, sound, painting, words, giant puppets…arts of all kinds. Catch a glimpse, stay and watch, join in, or track all three parks to see what happens.
About artSparks at Westlake Park:
Ingrid Lahti, conceptual and installation artist, along with Carrie Bodle, visual and sound artist, create a series of arts happenings where people can experience art in process and have a chance to interact with artists about their work. For more information on the curation of this park, please visit their blog.
