Site Specific Earthworks Tour

Alex Martin brings us her live interactive performance entitled “The Art Test” and her live contemporary dance performance “The Daylight” accompanied with live music from Mike Bayer.  Also, there will be an environmental art installation by Kristin Tollefson.  All of that and a guided tour of the Herbert Bayer Earthworks led by national experts.
The Kent Earthworks was designed by Bauhaus master Herbert Bayer. The Earthworks is internationally recognized for being a Modernist masterpiece, a stormwater detention dam and a public park. This tour is part of a larger national arts convention taking place in Seattle. Americans for the Arts is the leading nonprofit organization for advancing the arts in America.  
The festivities will take place, rain or shine. Dress for the weather and bring a picnic lunch.
